NAVIGATION & DREDGING

Water resource planning efforts have focused on turn-key completion of comprehensive environmental baseline surveys, environmental impact statements, and mitigation planning for GRR and Feasibility Studies for port and federal channel deepening projects. These projects have included marine resource mapping, assessments for small navigational improvement projects, resource inventory and analysis for long term dredged material disposal planning of the AIWW, and sediment and toxicity screening and impact analysis of proposed dredged material. We have provided strong leadership towards accomplishing technically difficult and time sensitive tasks including rapid turn around of NEPA documents, analysis of mitigation options and incremental costs, essential fish habitat assessment, and preparation of Coordination Act Reports for the Fish and Wildlife Service. Selected assignments are highlighted below.
