SHORE PROTECTION - BEACH RESTORATION

Dial Cordy has provided environmental planning and regulatory compliance support for major shore protection projects along the southeast and Gulf of Mexico shorelines, including marine resource mapping and inventories of seagrass, coral reefs, and nearshore hardbottom and offshore hardground features. For these projects, Dial Cordy and Associates Inc. formulated and evaluated project alternatives; prepared comprehensive NEPA documents (EA and EIS); prepared cumulative impact assessments; developed Essential Fish Habitat assessments; prepared biological assessments for protected fish and wildlife resources and protected federal species; prepared mitigation and monitoring programs for unavoidable impacts to marine resources; and implemented required comprehensive monitoring programs.
